  2.  This MENU system has simple functions to allow quick and easy access
  3.  to your most commonly used Applications.  
  4.  
  5.  The Menu System has provisions for fifteen menu options.  Each option
  6.  may be assigned as a Submenu which may contain up to fifteen options
  7.  each.  Access is accomplished by means of the arrow keys and pressing
  8.  ENTER or by User designated Hot Keys.

  19.  [ Add to/Edit Menu ]
  20.       Setting up the Menu System is accomplished through the Add to
  21.  Menu/Edit Menu Selections.  Either selection will bring up a Window
  22.  for Editing or Adding to the Menu(s).

  24.       Necessary directory names and program run names are normally
  25.  supplied through software documentation or during the software 
  26.  installation process.  
  27.  
  28.  [ Delete Option ]
  29.       This selection allows the removal of a menu option.  If the
  30.  option has a Submenu selected, you will be prompted as to your
  31.  course of action.  If you select to delete the immediate option, the
  32.  Submenu will also be deleted.  An "Are You Sure?" way out has been
  33.  provided when selecting to delete an option that points to a Submenu.
  34.  Proceeding to the Submenu will allow deletion of a Submenu option. To
  35.  shorten a menu window, delete an option at the bottom of the window. 
  36.  Options deleted at other than the bottom will not change the window
  37.  size.

  39.  [ Move Option ]
  40.       This selection allows for re-arranging the top to bottom
  41.  order of each Menu.  Pressing {Esc} before or after the first
  42.  selection will abort the move process.  This option is best used
  43.  prior to using the delete option.

  46.  The ] Menu Parameters [ Window is where your information is entered.
  47.  If previous DATA is present,  pressing <ENTER> through the prompts
  48.  will not make any change to that DATA.  When entering menu DATA is
  49.  complete, you will be prompted to EXIT, continue EDITING, or SAVE.

  69.              Each DATA input line is a mini word processor.
  70.         HOME, END, INSERT, DELETE, and CURSOR keys are functional.
  71.              Along with CTRL + Y to delete entire line.

  73.  [ Program Title: ]
  74.       This will be the name that you select to show in the Menu.
  75.  To activate Hot Key function, the  ^ character is placed before the
  76.  letter in the Program Title you wish to be the Hot Key.  DO NOT use
  77.  the same Hot Key for another selection within the same Menu Window.
  78.  The Hot Key function is not Case sensative, upper and lower case are
  79.  treated as equals.

  81.  [ Drive Spec: ] 
  82.       This will be the Drive which the Application files are located.
  83.  Entered as a single letter in upper or lower case.  The Menu System
  84.  checks for Logical Drives A-J allowing access to other than the
  85.  immediate drive.  A "S" entry in upper or lower case is for a Submenu
  86.  option that is available only in the Main Menu.  It is possible to 
  87.  render a Submenu inactive by changing the "S" to a valid drive and 
  88.  entering the necessary information as a normal menu option.  Since 
  89.  the program checks for what is currently in use, inactive Submenus
  90.  may be lost during a Move or Delete option.

  92.  [ Path: ]
  93.       This will be the directory in which the Application files are
  94.  located.  Entered in upper or lower case and without the leading "\"
  95.  character.  Pressing <ENTER> for this option with no DATA will mean
  96.  the the same as files stored in the ROOT Directory.

  98.  [ RunName: ] 
  99.       This will be the file name that executes the desired
  100.  Application.  This can be either upper or lower case and with or
  101.  without the extension.  Input space is allocated to a maximum of
  102.  thirty two characters.  Enough for some Run Names accepting optional
  103.  switches or file loading.
  104.  
  105.       RunNames will work best if the filename is an .EXE or .COM file.
  106.  When executing a BATCH file, enter CALL and then the name of the
  107.  BATCH file.  When the BATCH file ends, the DOS CALL statement is
  108.  needed for a return to the MENU.  Without the CALL, the BATCH file
  109.  terminates in the last used directory.

  111.  [ Program Option: ]
  112.       Some Applications may require different switch options or may
  113.  be directed to perform an operation, such as Copy a file or files
  114.  from a source to another destination.  Whatever the need, answering
  115.  Y in upper or lower case will cause an entry window to pop up before
  116.  the Application is executed.  Any other key entry will be considered
  117.  an NULL or N entry.  Space is provided the Pop Up Window for a Forty
  118.  character entry.

  120.  [ Pause Option: ]
  121.       On occasion there is the need to halt the return to the Menu,
  122.  in order to view the results of the selected Application.  Entering
  123.  Y in upper or lower case will cause a pause before returning to the
  124.  Menu.

  126.  [ Password: ]
  127.       This option, when made available on initial installation
  128.  provides the capability of password protection not only to
  129.  individual applications but to Submenus as well.  For security
  130.  reasons Submenu and application passwords should be different
  131.  than that of password set on initial start up.  As with the 
  132.  initial startup password, all passwords are encrypted.  In the 
  133.  event that the intial password is forgotten or needs to be change, 
  134.  a program on the INSTALL Diskette has been provided for that need.
  135.  The program (PASSWORD.EXE) is not copied to the Hard Drive and for
  136.  the intended security reasons, the Diskette should be stored in a
  137.  secure location.  This of course does not prevent unauthorized
  138.  access through a SHELL.
